Tropical Financial Credit Union is offering a special 6-month CD with a yield as high as 4.25% APY for a minimum deposit of $50,000. The yield is 4.00% APY for a $500 minimum deposit. These rates require members to have a Plus Relationship. Without this, the rates are 0.25% lower. This CD is also available in an IRA.

Membership is open to those who live or work in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Sarasota Counties. Please see their membership page for the full details. Membership requires a $5 minimum deposit into the regular savings account.

The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 68476). It has $721.7 million in assets and 66,136 members.
