Nassau Educators FCU is offering a special. 5.08% APY 28-month IRA term certificate. The minimum deposit is $500. There's also a bump-up feature that allows one rate bump-up during the term to the then-corresponding 2-year IRA term certificate rate. The promotion is scheduled to last through April 15, 2008, but the rate is not guaranteed to remain at 5.08% APY. The early withdrawal penalty is 90 days of interest.
