4.10% 9-Month / 4.15% 12-Month CD at SunBank in Arizona

SunBank continues to offer a competitive 9-month CD with an APY of 4.10%. The 12-month CD is also competitive with an APY of 4.15%. Minimum deposit is $500. These rates are listed in the bank's rate table as of 11/27/08.
My last post on this bank was in August. Its 12-month CD rate has gone up a little since then.
It appears that a branch visit may be required to open an account. Branches are located in several Arizona cities including Phoenix, Glendale, Lake Havasu, Tucson and Yuma.
SunBank is a fairly new bank that was established in June 2007, and thus it doesn't yet have a rating at BauerFinancial. It has a 3 star rating (performing) at Bankrate.com based on 6/30/08 data. It is FDIC insured (FDIC Certificate # 58611).
