Appalachian Community Federal Credit Union is offering a very competitive short-term CD special along with some decent long-term CD and IRA CD rates. The CD special is a 1.51% APY 9-month CD. Minimum deposit is $5,000. The best long-term CDs include a 2.53% APY 5-year CD and a 2.78% APY 6-year CD. Minimum deposit is $1,000. These rates are listed at the credit union's rates page as of 11/30/2010.
