Its best CD deals include a 1.01% APY 1-year CD and a 0.80% APY 6-month CD. These are also available as IRA CDs. The bank also has a promotional 9-month CD with a 0.90% APY. The best 12-month CD rates is 1.16% APY at State Bank of India - Chicago. However, this 1.16% APY requires a $95K minimum deposit, and the account must be opened at a branch or by mail. The best deal for an internet bank is the 1.05% APY 1-year Achiever CD at CIT Bank. The Achiever CD allows for one additional deposit and one rate bump-up during the term.
