Pawtucket Credit Union (Pawtucket CU) is offering a limited-time High Yield Savings Special, which requires new money and can be opened with a minimum $25k deposit. The tiered rates are guaranteed through March 31, 2022, with the 1.05% APY requiring a minimum $75k balance.

Headquartered in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Pawtucket Credit Union still does not list its field of membership (FOM) anywhere on its website, which is unusual. According to CSR, "anyone" can join the credit union, as long as "anyone" lives or works in Rhode Island or Massachusetts.
Joining Pawtucket CU can be done online, or at any of 17 Rhode Island branches located in Bristol, Cranston (2), Cumberland, East Greenwich, East Providence, North Kingstown, North Providence, Pawtucket (4), Rumford, Smithfield, Wakefield, and Warwick (2).
While several of Pawtucket CU’s deposit accounts can be opened online, opening a High Yield Savings Special account must be done at any of the above-mentioned branch locations.
Opening a Statement Savings account with a minimum $5 deposit establishes a new Pawtucket CU membership.
Pawtucket CU participates in the Rhode Island CU ATM Network, giving members access to 70 surcharge-free ATMs owned by twelve Rhode Island credit unions.
