UPDATE 2/14/18: The 7-Month Certificate special has ended.
Seven months ago, Ent Credit Union (Ent CU) celebrated its 60th with a very competitive 13-month Certificate. Ent CU has introduced a new very competitive Certificate Special. This new one is a 7-month Certificate that earns 2.00% APY. The minimum opening deposit is $500, with no stated balance cap.
The 7-month Certificate Special is also being offered as an IRA (Traditional, Roth, CESA, and HSA) earning the same APY, with the same funding requirements.
According to the fine print on Ent CU’s Rates page,
Certificates automatically renew at a 7-month term
at the current non-promotional rate upon maturity.
Ent CU’s Truth In Savings document states:
You will have six (6) calendar days after the maturity date to withdraw funds without penalty
The Truth In Savings disclosure also details the Early Withdrawal Penalty:
For certificates and IRA certificates with maturity of one (1) year or less,
the amount of the early withdrawal penalty is ninety (90) days’ loss of dividends.
Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Ent Credit Union field of membership (FOM) is primarily residency based, with individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in Arapahoe, Denver, Douglas, El Paso, Fremont, Jefferson, Pueblo, and Teller Counties eligible to join.
Individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in the Weld County communities of Dacono, Erie, Firestone, Frederick, Ft. Lupton, and Mead also qualify for membership.

Civilian and military personnel of the Colorado Air National Guard, Colorado Army National Guard, and those associated with Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, Colorado, are also eligible for membership.
