San Patricio County Teachers Federal Credit Union (San Pat FCU) is currently offering very competitive long-term CDs: 3-year CD (2.25% APY), 4-year CD (2.30% APY), and 5-year CD (2.35% APY). The minimum deposit for any of these CDs is $2.5k, with no maximum balance cap.
In the past four years, each of the CDs has had seven rate changes, with the current APYs being the highest rate during that time frame.

San Patricio County Teachers Federal Credit Union was established in 1957 for the benefit of San Patricio County school district employees. The field of membership was expanded in 1974 to included educators in neighboring Live Oak County. In 2002, membership was extended to all residents of San Patricio County.
As you may have guessed, "San Patricio" is Spanish for "Saint Patrick," a saint not normally associated with Spanish-speaking people or countries. According to Wikipedia,
In 1828, 200 Irish Catholic families, recruited from Ireland and the Irish population of New York City, contracted with the Mexican government to settle on 80 leagues of land in this area.
Saint Patrick was the primary patron saint of these settlers and the County was named after him.
