Now through December 31, 2017, Camden National Bank (CNB) is offering up to $300 in checking bonuses when opening any of three checking accounts with Direct Deposits of at least $500 during the second statement cycle. The amount of the bonus is dependent on which checking account is opened.
- $100 bonus when opening a new Simple Promise checking account.
- $200 bonus when opening a new Promise Rewards checking account.
- $300 bonus when opening a new Promise Premier checking account.
Simple Promise Checking has no monthly fees or minimum balance requirements, but does require a minimum of $25 to open. eStatements are free, but monthly paper statements carry a $5 fee.
Promise Rewards Checking can also be opened with a minimum $25 deposit. There is a $5 monthly fee that can be waived with a minimum $100 average balance, or a minimum of $2.5k “in any combination of qualifying deposit and certificate of deposit balances.” The account earns a 10¢ cash-back rewards on debit card purchases.
Promise Premier Checking has a $20 monthly fee that can be waived with a minimum $2.5k average balance, OR a minimum balance of $25k in total deposit balances, OR a minimum of $150k in consumer and/or residential mortgage loan balances. The account earns 0.05% APY on balances of at least $2.5k, as well as a 15¢ cash-back rewards on debit card purchases.

- If the requirements are met, the bonus will be credited within 60 days of account opening.
- Account must be open and in good standing to receive the bonus.
- If the account is closed within six months of account opening, a $5 early termination fee will be assessed.
