Home Loan Savings Bank (OH) Has A New Kasasa Cash Checking Account

The Home Loan Savings Bank (Ohio) has added a new Kasasa Cash Checking Account to their product line. If the monthly transaction qualifications are met, balances up to $25K earn 2.02% APY, with balances over $25K earning 0.25% APY. If the qualifications are not met, all balances earn 0.05% APY.

This Kasasa Cash Checking Account requires a minimum $50 to open and there is no monthly service fee.

Monthly Qualifications

  • Have at least 12 debit card purchases post and settle
  • Be enrolled in eStatements
  • Access online banking at least one time a month

A companion Kasasa Saver account (Kasasa Cash Checking required) is also available. If the above mentioned Kasasa Cash Checking monthly qualifications are met, Kasasa Saver balances, up to $50K, earn 0.50% APY; Kasasa Saver balances over $50K earn 0.25% APY on the portion of the balance over $50K. If the qualifications are not met on the Kasasa Cash Checking, all balances in the Kasasa Saver earn 0.05% APY.

The Home Loan Savings Bank (Home Loan) is located in central Ohio and offers its services and product line to all residents of Ohio.

Opening a Kasasa Cash Checking Account can be done online, with a 2-part application process: account sign-up and account funding, or by an in-person visit to any of four Ohio branches, located in Coshocton (2), Mount Vernon, and West Lafayette.

The Kasasa Saver account can also be opened online, or by visiting a branch location.
