USE Federal Credit Union’s (USEFCU) nationally available Kasasa Cash currently earns 3.00% APY on qualifying balances up to $10k. Qualifying balances over $10k earn 0.25% APY, with non-qualifying balances earning 0.01% APY.

Kasasa Cash Qualification Requirements

  • At least 12 debit card purchases.
  • Be enrolled in and log into online banking.
  • Be enrolled in and receive eStatements.

The Kasasa Cash account has no minimum balance requirement or monthly service fees, but it does require a minimum $10 opening deposit. There is a limit of one account per Social Security number or ITIN. Nationwide ATM fees will be reimbursed up to $25 per qualification cycle. At this time, there is no companion Kasasa Saver account, even though the fine print on the Kasasa Cash promotion page states,

Must maintain an open Kasasa Cash account to be eligible for the Kasasa Saver account.


Headquartered in Oklahoma City, USE Federal Credit Union’s field of membership (FOM) has a way for almost any U.S. citizen or resident alien to join.

Easy membership - Individuals who join the Friends of the Metropolitan Library System ($10.00 fee) qualify for USEFCU membership.

Employment - All employees of the U.S. Postal Service, regardless of residency, are eligible to join. In addition, any federal employee who lives in the Oklahoma counties of Canadian, Cleveland, Gracy, Kingfisher, Logan, or Oklahoma also qualifies.

Relationship - Family members and household partners of current USEFCU members are also welcome to apply.

Joining USEFCU and/or opening a Kasasa Cash account can be done online, or at any of the four Oklahoma branches located in Norman and Oklahoma City (3).

Ken, thank you for this new option.

By the way, is there a reason why stopped listing the 3.00% (up to 10k) "R Best Checking" reward checking account by R Bank in Texas? (I'm a customer there and can confirm that I still receive the 3.00%.)

Thanks for the comment. Glad to see R Bank is still offering 3% for up to $10k. I'm afraid R Bank doesn't make it easy for us to import their rates.
