There are five rate tiers based on deposit levels,

To help you start saving more, you begin at the highest interest rate,
earning an incredible 3.00% APY on balances up to $2,499.99.

The current rate tiers are,

  • 3.00% APY – Up to $2.5k
  • 1.98% APY – $2.5-$5k

Unitus provides a Go Savings Calculator that “automatically distributes your deposit amount into the appropriate tiers.” Obviously, the larger the balance, the smaller the blended APY, but a $5k balance does earn a blended 2.50% APY. The following balances/blended APYs were generated by the Go Savings Calculator.
