Connexus CU Celebrates With "$80 In Your Pocket" Checking Bonus

Wisconsin-based Connexus Credit Union (Connexus) is celebrating its 80th Anniversary with an "$80 in Your Pocket" checking account promotion.

This promotional offer is valid for new Xtraordinary and MyRewards checking accounts opened between now and October 31, 2015. Both checking accounts have no minimum balance requirements, no monthly fees, and earn the APYs below stated on qualifying balances up to $25K.

The $80 bonus will be deposited following the first successful direct deposit transaction into the new Connexus checking account. The promo code, 80For 80, must be used when opening the account to guarantee the bonus.

Xtraordinary Checking

The Xtraordinary Checking has been one of the staples of Connexus’ product line since its debut in Fall 2009. While maintaining its original qualifying balance cap of $25K, the APY gradually fell from the initial 3.65% APY to the current 1.75% APY, although the 1.75% APY has remained constant since May 2012.

Membership in Connexus Credit Union (Connexus) is open to virtually anyone by joining the Connexus Association, with a one-time $5 donation that will directly benefit one of many supported organizations.
