Bank of Franklin County (MO) Has 20-Month CD Special, EXPIRED

Availability: 20-month CD Special, 3.04% APY ($50k+) and 40-month CD Special, 3.30% APY ($50k+), 3.14% APY ($500+).

Availability: Market area includes three eastern Missouri counties.

For a limited time, the Bank of Franklin County (BFC) is offering two CD Specials, with very competitive rates for deposits of $50k and above.

Both CD Specials are available as IRAs (Traditional and Roth), earning the same APYs with the same funding requirements.

According to CSR, the Early Withdrawal Penalty for the 20-month CD Special is six months interest and nine months interest for the 40-month CD Special, but there are no partial withdrawals. The Terms and Conditions brochure states,

We may close your account and impose the early withdrawal penalty
on the entire account balance in the event of a partial early withdrawal.

Availability

Headquartered in Washington, Missouri, Bank of Franklin County’s market area includes Franklin, St. Charles, and Warren Counties in eastern Missouri.

Opening any type of account with BFC requires an in-person visit to any of five Missouri branches located in New Haven, O’Fallon, and Washington (3).

BFC’s online banking platform is currently limited to account management and bill payment services.
