Ridgewood Savings Bank is currently the largest mutual savings bank in New York State, with over $5.3 billion in assets. The Bank was established in 1921 as The Savings Bank of Ridgewood by 14 local entrepreneurs, who were actively involved in the Bank’s day-to-day operations. The Bank’s headquarters in Ridgewood is still located at the original site, although in 1929 a new building replaced the converted taproom that served as the first branch. In 2007, the Bank merged with City and Suburban Bank (Yonkers), expanding its footprint into the Bronx, Manhattan, and Westchester County.
How the 200good Bonus Compares
This is almost free money: the two $50 portions of the bonus don’t involve tying up any funds, and the $100 bonus only requires a recurring Direct Deposit. With no monthly service fees or minimum balance requirement on any of the checking accounts, the $25 opening deposit is the only upfront financial investment.
