Advia Credit Union (MI/WI/IL) Adds 2.25% APY Holiday CDs
Now through December 23, 2019, Advia Credit Union (Advia CU) is offering “the best gift you can give yourself” – three Promo Rate CDs, each earning 2.25% APY. The minimum opening deposit is $500, with no stated balance cap.
While Advia CU offers additional basis points (5 or 10) on many of its CDs through the Member Advantage Rewards program, the Promo CDs are excluded.
According to CSR, the Early Withdrawal Penalty for any of the Promo CDs is 90 days interest on the amount being withdrawn.
Availability
Headquartered in Parchment, Michigan, Advia Credit Union’s field of membership (FOM) is residency based, with individuals who live, work, or attend school in the following areas, eligible to join.
Michigan: All of the Lower Peninsula’s 68 counties
Wisconsin: Dane, Green, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Racine, Rock, Walworth, and Waukesha Counties
Illinois: Boone, Cook (north of Irving Park Road), DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, and Winnebago Counties
Joining Advia CU and/or opening a Promo Rate CD can be done online, or at any of 21 full-service Michigan branches located in Battle Creek (3), Brownstown Township, Fort Gratiot, Kalamazoo (5), Marysville, Mattawan, New Baltimore, Parchment, Plainwell, Port Huron, Portage, Richland, Royal Oak, Southgate, and Springfield. Advia CU also has 11 full-service Wisconsin branches located in Beloit (2), Burlington, Elkhorn (2), Janesville (2), Madison, Salem, Waukesha, and Williams Bay, and four Illinois branches located in Cary, Crystal Lake, Rockton, and Woodstock.
A minimum $5 deposit into a Regular Savings account is required to establish a new membership.
In addition to participating the CO-OP Shared Branch network, Advia CU members,
have access to 1,700 fee-free ATMs in Michigan and nearly 30,000 nationwide.
