Topeka is a city in northeast Kansas. The state's capital city, it has a population of about 125,000 people. The wider Topeka metropolitan area has about 230,000 people, and notable cities in the area include Manhattan, Emporia, Junction City, Clay Center, Marysville, Burlington, Concordia, Holton, and Seneca.
