Banking in the Nashville Area

Nashville is the second-largest city in Tennessee behind Memphis, with a population of about 660,000. Though Nashville is known as the home of the Grand Ole Opry and an important city in the country music scene, it actually has a very diversified economy, one in which banking plays a significant role.

Notable institutions with their headquarters in Nashville or surrounding cities include Pinnacle Bank of Tennessee, FirstBank, Franklin Synergy Bank, Wilson Bank and Trust, and Ascend Federal Credit Union.
